If you were listening carefully, you heard me refer to the 'dog days of summer' right at the beginning. In Japan, the dog days of summer is the time after the rainy season between July and September when the weather is scorching hot and humid.
For those who stayed until the end, you heard my buddy ArtLish say, 'stick a fork in it, this episode is done'. The phrase 'stick a for in it' means something is over or finished. It's also used to mean that someone can no longer go on. If you are trying to walk across a desert but run out of water you will soon die. In that case, just before you 'kick the bucket' you can stay, "Stick a fork in me, I'm done!".
