I was listening to a podcast sermon this week and in this sermon, the speaker was talking about Jesus our substitute. He read through chapter 53 of Isaiah where it talks about the crucifixion of Jesus prophesied centuries before it actually took place. As a believer and a music minister, I believe it is important to remind yourself of why you are singing and who you are singing about. In particular, you should remind ourself of what Jesus did for you. Jesus gave us freedom through His sacrifice. We need to remind ourselves of that. We need to think about it. We need to talk about it. We need to sing about it.
