Description

This recording darn near became our first 'lost' episode. Thankfully, editor Justin has recovered enough from covid to spend a fortnight slaving over this audio. That being said, there are still issues with the audio.

Kevin and Jeremy and I talked trash over a delightful bud of Capt Cake, courtesy of Calico Cannabis.

Cannawaste Recycling offers a variety of services to ensure that your cannabis business is adhering to state regulations. Providing you with affordable ways to reduce your overall carbon footprint and aid in environmental conservation, they offer a unique service in that they take your waste from your cannabis location, burn/reduce it and create biochar. Not only does this method of pyrolysis manufacturing create a carbon sink process, potentially reducing your carbon footprint, but the biochar can also be upcycled and reused in a variety of ways that can help society achieve environmental sustainability for consumers. They also provide track and trace documentation for clients on collection routes, using their bill of lading system, establishing a cycle of life, and providing a destruction date, all within your supply chain. They are also aiding marijuana and hemp stakeholders and farmers in finding an environmentally sustainable future for the Maine cannabis community and the industry as a whole.

Discussed this week: Talkin' trash, Devil Dogs and trail mix, biochar, closed loops, soil amendment, pyrolysis, carbon sink process, biodiesel, Sticky Bud. Grumpies Farm, movable kilns, and more!
