Nate, the owner and only full-time employee of Upward Organics, loves learning outside his comfort zone. He lives in 500 sq ft above a garage with two dogs, three cats, and fiance/partner Kate. A 3-time national human dogsled champion. Where he found enough willing humans to make a dogsled, we may never know.
Discussed this week: cool jobs and shit jobs, Seaweed Co, getting a contact high from a hands-on approach, head radio, herbal blends nutritional yeast, Smokehouse almond milk, cereal dust, the ego, solar panels, back to the grid, a gummy nibble break, Pink Pony, Rookie of the Year, water towers, walk-in closets, Goose, Finding No One, green mountain, interconnectedness, long hikes, regular maintenance, LED's as a no longer cutting edge standard, treating plastic like the planet, and more!
This is the last episode of season 5; we did it, gang! We're going to take a two-week hiatus before season 6, so the next time you'll hear from me and my next special guest from Fraktal Cannabis will be September 19th or 20th. Go out and flex your capacity for kindness like any muscle in your body in the meantime :)
