Mike Esposito is a microbiologist and plant nerd who has worked with cannabis for nearly a decade and has been a consumer for about 15 years. His background is in Plant, Soil, and Insect sciences, and working in a cannabis testing lab has allowed him to combine his favorite field of study with his favorite plant. Having worked in various cultivation sites across Massachusetts, Mike is interested in using scientific approaches to improve cannabis quality for consumers and safety for cultivators and cannabis workers in the region.
Mike Esposito is the lead microbiologist for Maine/Massachusetts Cannabis Research Labs and was kind enough to lend his credibility and fungal speciation report for this episode! This week on PL:AWS; creatures from a bong lagoon.
