The Women in Cannabis Study is a groundbreaking mixed-methods research project highlighting the unique yet shared experiences of women working in the emerging cannabis industry. The most comprehensive analysis of the subject matter to date, the Women in Cannabis Study seeks to both inform and inspire through the power of storytelling. Created through the desire to build an equitable and inclusive industry where everyone can feel safe, be heard, and succeed, the Report offers a thought-provoking narrative that hopes to raise the bar higher. Jennifer Wetzel, the author and founder of the study (among other things,) invited me into her home this week to debrief myself and our listeners with important details about this study, as well as connected topics. Want to know more about Jennifer and her other noble pursuits? Check out S3E2: Cookies and Cream and Jennifer and Rick.
Discussed this week: Women!, current consumers being curious consumers, the participants of the study, as well as the motivations behind it, how the industry will benefit from this information, peanut butter milkshakes, stories just being anecdotes until written down, creating a living history, sacrifices and success, genius pipes, bacon roasted Brussel sprouts, and more!
