Description

Today we get to know the president of the Optometric Society of New York, Dr. Thuy Tran.

We cover what it’s like working at an ophthalmology practice in New York and, since she is also the site’s externship program supervisor, she educates us on what to look for when choosing externship rotations.

She’s also a photographer that takes fantastic views of our beautiful city and we speak on how optometry inspired her photography. Spoiler alert she uses a Canon DSLR EOS 5D Mark IV.

And we answer the million dollar question, why should we care or be members of the American Optometric Association?
