I very nearly didn’t record an episode of Sales Is Mental this week as I’ve been struggling mentally. I started a new job a couple of months ago and inevitably that voice of doubt wants to hijack my progress and tell me that I can’t do it. In this episode I decided to unpack my take on imposter syndrome, how I feel about that term and why the pressure of results and doubt play a part in your development at work. I cover my experiences of feeling mentally drained and why putting your best foot forward can be exhausting. I also speak to control and why it is so important to know what you can and can’t control at work.
