Áine Moran is the innovative Principal of Sancta Maria College, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo since October 2021. Before that, she was the founding Principal of Le Chéile Secondary School, Tyrellstown from 2014. Previous to that, she was the Deputy Principal in Kildare Community School from 2012. She was on secondment for two years (2019 to 2021) as a leadership advisor with the PDST and the Leadership and Ethos Officer with Le Chéile Schools Trust. Áine is a mentor with CSL and tutor on the Postgraduate Diploma in School Leadership with UL. I discuss her leadership journey, vision and values along with her many innovative decisions she has made in her role as Principal. We also indulge in trying to reimagine some changes in the education system.
