In Jesus’ most famous and poignant parable, we see how a wayward son is welcomed home by a father who has never stopped waiting, watching, and loving. There is a place at the “welcome home” banquet for each of us as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper and remember Christ’s sacrifice: given and shed for you.
