Success can be a double-edged sword. Even while God is equipping us to “do all things through Christ who strengthens [us],” Jesus warns us that “life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.” How do we measure our success and have we ever “arrived” or does God call us to deeper purposes than success as our world defines it?
