Pastor Taylor Shippy - Mark 6:7-13, 30-44
This is the second of a five-part sermon series entitled "#Jesus: Learning to Follow Christ." This week we dive into a two-parter story. The disciples are sent out empowered by Christ to imitate the ministry they have visited Him previously doing. Once they return to Jesus, they seek a desolate destination to rest; however, Jesus has compassion on the impending crowds and wishes for the disciples to feed them despite their mediocre resources. Pastor Taylor seeks for us to recognize that following Christ necessitates following His lead when it comes to doing ministry.
