No doubt, Jesus being transfigured before his eyes on top of a mountain was most spectacular event of Peter's life. He beheld the glory of the second person of the Trinity with his own eyes! Nothing was veiled from him. And as campus minister Robert Knuth makes clear in Mark 9:1-10, nobody leaves an encounter like this the same. Not Peter. And not us. We are changed as we behold glory.
