We ALL do it! It is a natural human response to gauge where we stand in this world...COMPARISON!
The problem is...we are comparing the wrong things!
We often find ourselves comparing ourselves to our friends, neighbors, co-workers and celebrities.
Instead we should be comparing who we are today and who we want to be tomorrow! When you find yourself doing it from a place of insecurity and not inspiration!
The insecurity often starts in childhood, a small seed planted and can grow into a beast by adulthood...leading to negative self-talk and jaded personal worth. Negative self-talk then leads to feelings of defeat, inadequacy, fear, depression, overwhelm, anxiety or shame, sending down the road of self-limiting beliefs!
