The Power of Words Festival is a celebration of Words – Written, Acted, Spoken and Sung, which takes place every August in the town of Abbeyleix, Co. Laois. A wonderful inaugural year in 2019; a Short Story Writing Competition in 2020, culminating in an Anthology, due to be launched at this year’s festival - 2021 being, once again, an ‘in-person’ festival!
