This attitude stems from a fear of being perceived as judgmental or harsh. However, true Christian love does not shy away from the truth. It does not allow others to continue in harmful patterns without intervention. The Bible consistently teaches that love and truth go hand in hand. Love that is afraid to confront is not love at all but an enabler of destruction.
