Kerry Diotte was a Conservative member of Parliament for the riding of Edmonton Griesbach from 2015 to 2021. He was an Edmonton city councillor from 2010 to 2013. Previous to that he had a long career as a journalist in radio, TV, newspapers and magazines. He was best known as an opinion columnist for the Edmonton Sun where he worked from 1985 to 2009.
