Jon Sabala is the Veterans Services Director with the Missouri Department of Mental Health. He is responsible for the statewide policy and program development, implementation and operation of supportive services for service members, veterans and their families. Co-lead for the Governor’s Challenge to Prevent Suicide among SMVF. Jon is a Certified Peer Specialist and a retired U.S. Army Infantryman with 22-years of service whose deployments including Operation Desert Storm, Kosovo, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn.
