Chris Mintern is an Irish professional triathlete from Cork. Chris competes in the 70.3 distance racing and is fresh off his first professional podium in Poland 70.3 August 2021. Chris is also sprint, olympic and Half distance Irish champion and has been one of irelands top triathletes over the last number of years. Chris now works and trains in Germany and is coached by former olympic triathlete Gavin Noble of HupHup coaching.
In this episode Chris takes us through his journey from competing in his first triathlon at 12 years old, becoming a member of the Irish national squad, racing all over the world in ITU European and world cups and then transitioning to long distance triathlon where he has his sights set on making an impact over the next few years.
