The University of Santo Tomas, Manila's surrounding gastronomic culture, captures a community of students, residents, and workforce that unify through food. What drives the appeal of many people is despite the beautiful view of the enclosed architecture of the campus, the community built around it has made themselves notable to the university. The carinderias, vending stalls, and fast-food restaurants pose a unique experience for the people who travel or work in the area, specifically the district of Sampaloc, Manila, despite some already existing in other places. The podcast would like to explore these experiences and how such culture becomes one of the university's identities.
