Description

When the Hobbit came out it was received fairly well, but ultimately couldn't live up to the hype or the standards of the previous incredible Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. A messy production with the likes of time constraints, Guillermo del Toro being in charge and then being taken over by Peter Jackson, people thought there was too much filler, random subplots and it being needlessly overstretched into a trilogy. But this Cardinal Cut was made to remove all of that, so did it make it better? More cohesive? We are joined this week by our housemate and Tolkien fan Ed to speak all about it.
