Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight. Proverbs 12:22 ESV Lying is making an oath, promise or covenant made with someone that you are unable to keep the commitment. This is a business deal, partnership, marriage and even plans made with someone, tell the truth and ask for mercy (get out of that situation).
