This week Alex and Coop chat Psoriasis with Renay Moore - a friend from college who silently was struggling with the diagnosis process at the same time Alex was; sitting seats away from each other in classes, both totally unaware. Years later, we were able to reconnect and belly laugh about shared experiences. Our conversation underscores the reality that autoimmune diseases and the struggle with them can be silent or hidden. Psoriasis is one of the most prominent autoimmune diseases in the world, and learning how to deal with your body while it possibly rages against you visibly can be difficult. However, we agree that it's people, like Renay, sharing their story, their positivity and their lessons learned that make this community so amazing.
