Hindutva vs Hinduism is an artificial binary being created in the West and being lapped up by the Sepoys in India. The whole idea is to infuse the nascent Hindu Renaissance with a feeling of guilt so that it does not develop the necessary tools of resistance in the intellectual field or at the street level. Also, in their anxiety not to disown Gandhi, the BJP/RSS find themselves in the very corner where the Panchmakkars want them to be.
