Arrest of Ashwini Upadhyay after denial of permission to hold a rally to demand enactment of certain laws has exposed the BJP's design of monopolising Hindu issues, not doing anything about them and at the same time preventing any other Hindu voice from emerging. The role of Panchmakkars was predictable, but the sixth makkar, the Masterstrokevaadi was clearly acting on behalf of BJP to prevent and discourage this rally for national causes. One of the participants was even attacked while sleeping in the Dasna temple even with full security.
