Aranayakanda is the third book of the epic Indian mythological text, Ramayana. It tells the story of Rama's exile in the forest with his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana. During their stay in the forest, they encounter various challenges and obstacles, including battles with demon tribes and fierce monsters. The book concludes with Ravana, the demon king of Lanka, kidnapping Sita, leading to Rama and Lakshmana's quest to rescue her.
