The power to CHOOSE and the gift of that Choice is one of the greatest gifts that the Father God has given to every human being. In His power and sovereignty, knowing how terribly wrong free choice COULD go, God gave it ANYWAY because HE is love and love gives. Such a value, He places on personal choice, that HE will NOT violate it, even when HE KNOWS what the consequences will be, not just for the one making the choice, but those who will suffer as a result. This truth can be a tough pill to swallow OR it can be one of the sweetest gifts of life when we begin to understand the POWER of CHOICE in the context of God's CHOICE of US.
When He CHOOSES, it is a DETERMINATION. It is a COVENANT, and He is faithful to it, and HE offers us to come into THAT covenant WITH HIM.
In today's glimpse into the mirror of God's Word, we will look at this choice AGAIN and HOW precious WE ARE to the ONE who has CHOSEN to SET HIS LOVE on us.
