How do we KNOW that we KNOW GOD? How do we KNOW that we LOVE GOD? The Apostle John tells us in his letter to the church: THIS is how we know God, We KEEP His Commands.
From the day Adam was placed in the garden, he was given a task, not just to KEEP the earth, BUT to KEEP the WORD of GOD. His sin was not eating bad fruit; his SIN was violating God's Word that he was entrusted to KEEP. However, just like EVERY part of CREATION, GOD restored what was lost to mankind, by sending HIS WORD. HIS WORD became flesh and the WAY to the TREE of LIFE was once more opened to us. THE TASK before us NOW? TO KEEP THE WORD ONCE MORE, to GUARD the WAY to the TREE of LIFE and to OFFER the TRUTH to all WHO will hear.
