Time to recalibrate our character compass. Time to do what comes unnatural. Time to give our natural reflexes a facelift. Today I discuss areas where we can go against the grain and create a new normal and a new natural tendencies framework. I unpack three bible verses that hit me over the head and opened my eyes to areas where I need to make the biggest adjustments.
· “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves;” Philippians 2:3
· “Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. “But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:19-21
· “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Galatians 6:7-8
