Kevin McCarthy wins the position of Speaker of the House. It took 15 rounds. Whoopie-doopie. At least now Pelosi isn't third in succession to the presidency. I'm going to discuss the Kohberger affidavit after spending a lot of time analyzing the information, the timelines, and the many unusual facets, scenarios, and, circumstances. In the time that's gone by since the morning of November 13th, we've felt empathy for the parents, families, and friends of these four young people who needlessly and horrifically had their lives taken by the hand of a psychopathic killer. There will be a long and gruesome road to a verdict in this case. There's no way to explain this, no way that there were any justifiable reasons for the kids to lose their lives like this. We all have our time, but when something of this disgusting magnitude occurs, it raises a lot of questions and I don't know that there any reasonable answers. The murder of these kids was evil to an extent that is unfathomable. There's no justice here. The verdict doesn't bring these young people back. I didn't know the kids, families, or friends, but the face of them has been Steve and Christi Goncalves, and I have to give them the utmost respect. There's none of this thoughts and prayers. Doesn't change anything and that's just an easier way for people to say, "I don't know what the fuck you're going through, it's got to suck so I'm gonna say thoughts and prayers."
