The role of women in society has always been restricted especially by the church.
Christ however liberates women to live the lives that THEY choose not what’s chosen for them.
Martha is a women who chooses to stay in the home and support her community that way
While Mary is a women who chooses to leave the home to support her community that way.
Both women are necessary for the kingdom of God and both are blessed in their choices.
Women (or non gendered fems) that choose to serve God are blessed in their choices to be free from gender norms.
