Yahweh said to Moses, “Go up into this mountain of Abarim and see the land that I have given to the people of Israel. For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
