Assessing opportunities is not always a function of qualification and experience. It is a skill, to do according one's USP that life moves in the direction of such opportunities
My college and university studies did not interest me.
Sometimes I studied well and sometimes I didnโt.
But Education did not stop.
I read all that interested me.
Do not remember who said what,
but I was impacted and thought anew- many a times
whenever I read compelling literature and watched such movies
I was hired by a company in 2008 which normally hires people with high professional qualifications.
I didnt have any degree of that stature, like MBA or PHD.
I was hired because I was recommended by two senior people of the company.
They had met me in a HR workshop
where I was from a small organization from Odisha that didnโt have any HR policy.
So as part of the exercise, I had to create the policy then and there and presented it.
That was how I impressed the entire class that day.
And I qualified to come to the big company.
If I had applied to their HR, I would never have been selected.
They would have missed my brilliance in their setup..๐๐๐๐
I altered my destiny by being proactive that day, I would say
I could easily have escaped the exercise with the excuse that my organiztion didnt have any HR policy till that time.
Pl note that I dont have any HR mgmt qualification either
