Season 4 Theme - The Places That Scare You
This episode was created in Guatemala at the Yoga Forest with my sister Lindsey. We discuss the potency of plant medicines and integration support for healing, and the quickly shifting paradigm we are currently in. Lindsey shares her experience of being a licenced therapist and how she is sharing her magic with the world in the way she knows best, with nature. We discuss Lilypad, which has now transformed into Swuan, and how she is introducing alternative routes to heal from trauma.
We discuss the layers of mental health, fears of being crazy, self-loathing and how to support others who may be in very raw and vulnerable states. Lindsey gives us a download on the importance of integration support when deep healing and traumas are being released, especially with the support of plant medicines.
Our conversation highlights to both of us the importance of connection, community and support in order to establish and maintain thriving mental health. We ask what is an awakening? Does it look a certain way? Is it just the acceptance of ‘madness’?
