Dr. Dennis Summers is the head, state veterinarian for the Animal Industry Division at the Department of Agriculture of the state of Ohio. His credentials include: A Bachelor of Sciences in Agriculture from THE Ohio State University in 2001, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from THE Ohio State University Veterinary College in 2006 and just recently has become a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine in 2019. Prior to becoming a veterinarian of the Department of Agriculture in 2014, Dennis was a primarily large animal veterinarian where he worked mostly in the dairy industry. Dennis and I actually worked for a period of time together back during our "Sugarcreek Days" for Sugarcreek Veterinary Clinic.
