Dean Putt is a retired dairy farmer (since 2013) from Sugarcreek, Ohio that is now a cheese maker and owner of the Kuhweid Creamery. Dean earned a Bichemistry Degree from THE Ohio State University which has helped him in his development of his cheeses. During the podcast we sample all of his different kinds of cheeses and talk about the dairy industry, we talk Jersey Cows and the home farm where Elsie came from, how to make cheese and even some patho-physiology involving Johne's Disease in cattle.
