Description

Mackenzie Deetz is a 6th generation dairy farmer, nanny for your people with extra needs from Sugarcreek, Ohio.  She is a 2015 graduate from THE Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech/Hearing Sciences.  Mackenzie farms with her two brothers and father at Four Pines Farm where they milk almost 1600 cows at this time.  Mackenzie has several roles at the farm which includes managing calves with her brother Spencer, hauling cattle, mowing hay, packing silage, driving silage trucks and her number one role of book keeping/payroll for the family business.  Not only does she contribute to Four Pines Farm, but to the Tuscarawas Dairy Farmers Association and nationally for the dairy industries through the Adapt A Cow Program in conjunction with the national dairy check-off programs across the country.  Mackenzie is also a Farm Bureau member for the Tuscarawas County.  Mackenzie has several skills which help contribute to the family business but she is also very interested in helping with mental health and farming.  Follow Four Pines Farms on Facebook:  Four Pines Farm LTD.  Farm Bureau Check Your Engine Mental Program:  330-339-7211, ADAMH Board:  330-364-6488, 330-627-5891, OSU Extension Mental Health Assistance/Rural and Farm Stress:  u.osu.edu/farmstress/get-help-now/
