Dr. Brittany Rizzo is a 2012 graduate from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Before she earned her DVM, Brittany received her Bachelors of Animal Sciences degree from the University of Illinois. After veterinary school Dr. Rizzo has completed several internships specializing in zoo medicine. She currently has been the head veterinarian for The Akron Zoo for almost 8 years not. Dr. Brittany and her husband have also started an exotic animal transport company called Wild Ride Animal Transport, LLC which you can check out on LinkedIn.
