Description

John "Red" Parkinson was the name of my grandfather. He was nicknamed "Red" during the Korean war in 1950. When "Red" was younger he had a giant head of red hair. He was a Scotsman from upstate NY. Today, two years ago my grandpa passed away. I wanted to use today and this "silent Saturday" to honor him and his memoriam. In 2018 I wrote a story about the final hours of his life. I thought it would be cool to share it with you via audibly here on the podcast. I know those final hours gave me so much courage. I learned to risk praying and believing for what I've never seen or do what I've never done. I pray that as you listen the episode you are encouraged and filled with courage.
