Schenectady, NY is where I was raised from 10-16 years old. In this episode, I share my introduction to race in America as a young white boy. Before Schenectady there was a town called, Montgomery, NY where I had my first girlfriend, my first expulsion, and my first introduction to racism. Then back to Schenectady, NY where I would be introduced to my biological father and interracial dating. I loved that about my dad. A tale of two Upstate New York's.
