Description

With family originally hailing from Nigeria, Sana was homeless with her siblings and single mother who was a victim of domestic violence. She dove deep into the entertainment industry and has made a 180-degree transformation as a leading African-American woman entrepreneur in new media now thriving in New York City.

SANA appeared on the reality program Hustle & Soul and then in marquee advertising campaigns for TJ Maxx and Maybelline. She is now the host of the first afrobeat-themed radio show dedicated to African music titled Afro Flavain New York City that reaches 2.3M listeners in the tri-state area with her incisive interviews with luminaries in the African music industry and producing lifestyle content for social media with her 20K (and growing!) followers. Also, she launched her first e-commerce jewelry store, titled AWKN. Sana was inspired to provide fashion-forward jewelry.
