Hello everyone, welcome to the next episode of our Yellowknife mini-series. In today’s episode, we got the opportunity to interview the wonderful Isis Essery, who also happens to be Tev’s older sister. Isis is a Juno award-winning graphic designer for her work on Gord Downie’s Secret Path project and has dipped her toes into a multitude of creative outlets spanning from broadcast journalism to photography and videography.
This episode was really eye-opening for Maeve and I in the sense that we were able to gain some perspective on the fact that no single career path is linear, and that there are so many opportunities out there. We remain reassured that there’s no rush to find your “perfect” job and that learning and discovering yourself along the way can be just as rewarding as the end destination.
