In this episode, I hang out with Emily Chavarie. Emily is a photographer, screen printer, and lover of the creative process. She’s lively, fun, and makes people feel wonderful. Coming from a film/photography background, her mother filmed the Challenger explosion. She learned early that snapping images was her path. Emily loves capturing people in their element, ephemeral, and fleeting moments. She’s an in-house show photographer for Eastside Bowl. She shares the importance of unapologetically caring about the things that are important to you. Be confident talking about yourself when networking. Be kind to yourself and know that things take time. Emily loves making things for others as gift giving is one of her love languages. With her screen printing brand, The Kooky Press, her designs range from whimsical skeletons to endearing and fun catchy phrases.
