In the Kingdom of God, there is a difference between entitlement and permission.
Entitlement is a self-focused attitude, which is expressed as a heightened sense of deservingness. An entitled person believes that they deserve more than other people and will often pursue their needs at the expense of others.
On the other hand, a person who understands permission knows that they have received all things as blessings from the Lord and this will lead them to a greater sense of thankfulness. This attitude brings delight to God!
