What do you think of when you hear the term “Good News”, or perhaps when you hear the word “Gospel”?
This is a term that is thrown around a lot in Christian circles but what exactly is it? Someone might say it means God has a plan for your life. Or it means Jesus has died for your sins so you can be forgiven and go to heaven one day. Or you might say the gospel is the entry level into Christianity. It is the diving board you leap off of to get into the life of God.
The Gospel is the good news about a man named Jesus. Who came and lived. Died, Was Buried. Resurrected and Ascended. The Gospel that is now king is a very public announcement with huge personal implications for everyone living under his rule.
