Hi friends and welcome back to Sans Rival Cinema! Today's film is set in 1960's Chicago, yet manages to still be politically relevant in 2021. Join Jay, Ernest & Stacey as we discuss different tropes of Black Cinema, the inadequacy of the American education system, and how they relate to Judas and the Black Messiah (dir. Shaka King)
Shoutout to Ian for creating the music you'll hear at the beginning and the end of each episode & to Nikka for creating our cover art.
