*About our Worship*
As we wrap up our series, Sacred Ordinary Days, we move from solo spiritual practices to the communal practice of worship. We are made to be in relationship with other people. Human beings are communal people by design. Yet, over the last hundred years or so, humanity has become more of a collection of individuals. We even see this in some circles of Christianity - however, it is impossible to have a real relationship with Christ Jesus without having a relationship with the church, the Body of Christ. We need each other because our stories are wrapped up in the stories of all believers throughout time.
*About this Series*
In a world that seems so upside down these days, it can be hard to find any semblance of meaning or groundedness. Our lives have become so fragmented that we forget whose love we are rooted in. We struggle to connect our ordinary daily lives with the sacredness of it all. In this worship series, we discover that there are no parts of our lives that are secular, that are untouched by and disconnected from the real sacred work of worship and prayer. Every day is a Sacred Ordinary Day.
