@RobDaniels joined @vincetracy to discuss the sad demise of
the brilliant footballer Kun Aguero who had recently moved from
Manchester City to Barcelona. He developed a heart problem
and his medical advisers have told him he must stop playing
professional football. We then discussed the number of
professional sports players who have suffered problems in
recent weeks and months. We discussed the fallout in the
Spanish media after the UEFA Champions League draw and
how there is a feeling that it's been a bit of pay back for Real
Madrid and its involvement in the breakaway idea doing the
rounds last year. We compared the Covid outbreak in the
Premier League with the situation in La Liga. Rob gave his La
Liga roundup and then illustrated how well local teams are
doing and highlighted the upsurge in the fortunes of La Nucia
who are heading towards La Liga. This is my old town and
Rob's local team is also doing well, Sadly, we needed to discuss
the brilliant display by ManCity who beat #Leeds 7-0. Finally,
with Covid postponments in mind we predicted the week ahead.
