My bad record selection this week features a "song"....if you can call it a song.
...which resembles waking up and finding yourself in hell....it is like every nightmare
you have ever had rolled into one....it does in fact defy description....it is called "This
Is Yoko Ono".....performed by the lady herself ....once you start listening to it I
guarantee you will only give it 20 seconds as it will take that long to actually believe
what you are hearing.....I'm sure Yoko is a nice person but whoever told her she could
sing should be arrested.......it sounds like she has been set on fire......John Lennon
probably liked it....or said he did.....when you play this Vince I will understand if you
cut it short......it's like a punishment.
We have a new tennis superstar....Emma Raducanu who at 18 years old has won
the US open tournament ...without dropping a set through the whole
tournament.....this young lady has it all...apart from her amazing tennis skills she is
pretty and charismatic with a wonderful smile....she has already made a nice bit of
income from her appearance at Wimbledon and she can now add 2.5 million dollars
to her bank account......not to mention the sponsors who will be queuing up.....well
deserved....I have played tennis at club level so I can appreciate the skills of top
class players and the work and dedication required to reach world class level....I
watched the game and was on the edge of my seat....the girl has a massive talent.
