Since we last spoke we have had some naughty goings on in our wonderful government
which would make a great Hollywood movie if it wasn't so tragic.....we have Matt
Hancock being caught on camera snogging his aide Gina Colodangelo with his hand
placed in a rather unfortunate place......after seeing this in the daily papers and on the
news I can't even imagine how his wife and kids reacted when he got home....but I can
guess....then we have Dominic Cummings laying into Boris Johnson revealing all the
private conversations they had when they were friends...with friends like Dominic who
needs enemies.
Then we have the football with all the fans piling on to planes and jumping up and down
in the stadiums and dancing around the pubs as England progressed through the
Euros....and by some strange coincidence the covid rate is rapidly rising....I wonder
why?...we not only have the matches afternoon and night on the telly but headline news
each morning for 20 minutes....at the time of writing England have progressed to the
final....so at this point in time I don't know the result and couldn't care less......and if you
don't like football you can change channels on your TV and watch endless tennis.....and
if you don't like tennis you've had it.....and not forgetting the wonderful English so called
fans booing the Denmark national anthem and trying to shine a laser into the goalie's
eyes....they can't possibly know that they are are just a collection of useless pieces of
manure of no use whatsoever to the human race.....not forgetting the pretty young thing
who raised English hopes by getting through two rounds at Wimbledon....I felt sorry
when nerves got the better of her and she lost....however the 180 grand she gets should
ease the pain.
Mind you on the positive side Garry Linaker has agreed to take a drop in salary from his
couple of hours work each week as a BBC football pundit....sadly he now only gets 1.3
million a year....so that's O.K. then.
